The boomerang-shaped Common Green forms a green promenade linking Station Vathorst to the existing office buildings and serves as a neighbourly meeting place. The Landscape Zone serves as ecological buffer between CCNL and housing. Together with the wadi zone along the railway, the green spaces form a stepped system capable of buffering water during heavy rainfall. Two enclosed residential blocks are arranged around covered parking facilities and communal gardens. A smaller building block accommodates houses with gardens. Dwellings screen office parking facilities and create an edge to the green spaces. Tall apartment buildings accentuate the Common Green. The public green areas are biodiverse. The streets are laid out with high quality materials and minimal hard surfacing.
