Hackers mentality
“Life hacks” —big and small improvements to work and everyday life, are awesome. Site, software or system, hacks can be found for anything. UrbanLISP, self created hacks, is central in an efficient and effective workflow.
Housing cooperations are a wonderful way of living: they foster communities, are sustainable, affordable and provide a sense of ownership. They are the hack for the Dutch housing crisis. As part of RoCoCo it is made possible in Rotterdam.
Curiosity
Every project a curiosity; something rare and unusual. The goal is to create high quality urban design projects that are cherished by its users. Because a cherished project is a sustainable project.
Inspiration is drawn from the local landscape and community. Projects connect properly with its surroundings, with well-integrated public and private space, gain in beauty over time, are both robust yet flexible.
