For many years, Industriepark Kleefse Waard accommodated the heaviest categories of industry within the river landscape of the Nederrijn and the IJssel. The urban design served as basis for collaboration with the municipality. The site’s perimeter fence and park management haven been maintained and modernised. The urban design keeps the stunning historical industrial buildings in sight as much as possible. Key sightlines from the Pleij Route have been safeguarded so the site remains a distinctive landmark. The area, now renamed Cleantech Park Arnhem, offers an inspiring and green environment with top-notch facilities, where enjoyment of work and interaction are key. Through steady growth, the park continues to evolve and is able to respond to new opportunities as they arise.
