The building aligns with that of the town hall, made possible by the new design for the Laan van Meerwijk. The volume encloses the front gardens along the Meerlaan. The volumes along the Laan van Meerwijk, gradually decrease in height and step back, allowing it to relate to the position and scale of the restaurant. This allows for a green front zone that contributes to the green character of the new street profile. A covered and out of sight parking facility at the rear is accessible via the Meerlaan. The corner of the building is given special emphasis, so both sides come together properly. With its pitched roofs, the volume matches the architectural language of the surrounding area.
